As we were expecting, Google along with Asus have released their Nexus tablet which is now officially called Nexus 7 tablet, with a clean design and minimal branding featuring the Google’s latest mobile operating system, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The Nexus 7 tablet is a 7-inch tablet as we have expected before with a 1280*800 IPS LCD which clocks at 400 nits of brightness. Also as were expected before, the tablet is powered by a powerful NVIDIA Tegra 3 T30L quad-core processor which runs at 1.2Ghz.
Wireless connectivity is 802.11b/g/n and bluetooth is available as well, but it misses the WWAN connectivity which means you have to stay close to a hotspot to access the web.
The tablet features a powerful 1 GB ram and it came out with two storage capacity models: 16GB and 8GB. Nexus 7 is 10.45mm thick which is slightly thinner than the Amazon’s Kindle Fire. Google also managed to keep the weight of tablet at 340 gram which is a greater advantage comparing to its other rivals.
In the key note, Google has been mentioned that the battery of this powerful tablet will be 9 hours. Well, everything looks good but what makes this tablet to stand out?
The answer for this question is the price. Nexus 7 tablet is a top tier tablet but at the price of $199 for 8GB model and $249 for $249 model, it will be steal and a real nightmare for other mini tablet manufactures.
