Without any invite you can now sign up with Pinterest. The one of the most popular social networks on the Internet has pushed doors open to accept open registration.
So start with an account there without any wait for an invite. Earlier interested people had to request for an invite from the social company or from any friend who have an account on the platform. This process was implemented to have a control on the volume of new users to keep the server safe from getting overwhelmed.
In a blog post announcing about the open doors Pinterest also mentioned now the company is capable of handling any new traffic.
The blog post read, “We’re really excited to have the capacity to offer Pinterest to more people and if you’re a Pinner with friends who’ve been waiting on the sidelines, we hope you’ll let them know.”
Users can now sign up on Pinterest with an e-mail address apart from the usual practice of using a Twitter or Facebook login.
Pinterest does not share its user stats publicly but a report in the month of April revealed the social networking site had 4 million unique visitors every day at the beginning of 2012.
