Next generation Nexus 7 is going to favor Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro

There have been recent reports where Asus and Google are pairing up in order to launch the next generation Nexus 7 that is synonymous in displaying full-HD display. Furthermore, Google’s Nexus 7 tablet is going to support Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chip and not Nvidia’s Tegra 4 SoC.

The reason why it is going with Qualcomm is because of the fact that it is giving a better and coveted deal. Apart from that S4 Pro, it is able to integrate easily with 3G and 4G modem technology, thereby easing you immensely as well. Another great thing which is worth mentioning is that, it offers competitive pricing as well which is enough towards attracting increasing numbers of people. On the same lines, it has not compromised with its sophisticated quality which is the best among the rest for sure.

It is expected that the next generation Nexus 7 is going to be shipped in the second quarter of the year after the application was lost by NVIDIA.

Hence, Tegra sales estimate was cut for the fiscal year which ended January from $750 million to $525 million. Furthermore, there is going to be an adverse impact on the sales of $200 million to $250 million. Hence, it can be said that the news cannot become worse than this for sure.

The Tegra 4 which was manufactured previously had features in the form of 72 custom Nvidia GeForce GPU cores. The graphics power of the same was whopping six times as compared to the current one. The Tegra 4 is also synonymous with world renowned support for 4GLTE voice. It utilizes the optional fifth generation Nvidia Icera i500 chipset.

There have been further reports about the tablet having a thinner frame. Its price was between $199-$249. In the event if it is launched at Google’s I/O event in May, then there have been expectations that it is going to run on Android Key Lime Pie.

According to the chain sources there have been combined sales of the first and the second generation Nexus 7 tablets as the figure is going to reach 10 millions by the end of 2013. The sales are enough indicator of its increasing popularity as it equally shows the kind of craze which it has garnered by one and all.

Rumors were doing the round last month where Nexus7.7 was told to be developed as a sequel to Google’s current Nexus 7 tablet.

The expected price of the tablet is roughly $299 for the 8GB model. Although, as of now, there is not any mention about the specific version of Android, the variant will be powered. Hence, the big question arises that whether it is going to be a separate tablet from Google. In order to get the answer to the problem, you are going to wait as you are surely going to get the answer. Needless to say, that every body is eyeing on the same and only time will tell as well.
