How To Run Android On Your Windows Mobile Phone

Android OS has been always the best mobile browser today. With this, almost all the mobile users desire to access Android OS on their mobile phone although they are aware that their mobile phone does not support Android OS at the first place.

Well, in this tutorial, you will now be allowed to access Android OS on a Windows Mobile Phone. For most experts, Windows Mobile Phone has the capability of running Android OS and they succeeded with it.

How To Run Android On Your Windows Mobile Phone

1. You will need a microSD card and not the SDHC one. Also, you will need a supported Windows Mobile Phone. Also, you need to use a microSD which is compatible with the needs of the Windows Mobile Phones. Try checking it by looking for the “HC” label.

2. The microSD should be formatted in FAT32. If your microSD is in NTFS format, you can reformat it by attaching the microSD to the system, look for it on “My Computer”, right click on its icon, and then click “Format”. On the File System drop down menu, choose FAT32 and hit “Start”. You will now have a microSD card in FAT32 format.

3. After formatting your microSD, you will now need to look for the right port of your mobile phone for your Android. Internet can help you to find those supported mobile phones. The version of the Android OS that you are going to use will start on 1.0. But for this case, you may need to start on the versions of 1.6 up to 2.1 depending on the port of your Windows Mobile Phone.

4. Once found the right port, you will now need to extract it. After extracted, you will find a folder naming “andboot”. Click that “andboot” folder and look for the “startup” or “startup config” folder. After clicking that folder, you will now find several “startup.txt” file.

Each file is unique for your phone model. Now, copy the right “startup.txt” file to the “andboot” folder. Choosing the right file is crucial as this contains all the settings compatible to your phone such as the screen size and RAM to be used.

5. After copying and pasting the correct “startup.txt” file to the “andboot” folder, you will now copy and paste the whole thing to your formatted microSD card. Now, insert the microSD to your mobile phone. Look for the file using the file browser. Take note that as you do this step, plug in the power cord of your phone. For some cases, running the program with just battery inserted on the mobile phone may cause repeated “hang”.

6. Now, load the “andboot” folder and run the “haret.exe”. After successfully running it if you have pasted the right “startup.txt” file, this will be easy and you will immediately see the Android logo. That is actually the welcome screen and will allow you to operate the settings, just like setting up an email account.

7. Keep in mind that you should allow your mobile phone to absorb all the files needed and load fully. Do not be hurry in using it. It may take you at least 10 minutes depending on your mobile phone to make it fully synchronized. If you will fail to do it, then several errors may appear.

After successfully running and syncing Android to your Windows Mobile Phone, it will run smoothly and fast and will even allow you to install applications exclusively for Android OS users.
