Google Nexus 7 Tablet Violates Nokia WiFi Patents [Report]

The newly released Google Asus made Nexus 7 tablet got its first accusations or we say a potential legal notice from Nokia.

While speaking to The Inquirer, the Finnish mobile giant claims that the Google’s tablet which was made by Asus is using Nokia’s WiFi patents without a license.

They also claim that both the companies, Google and Asus haven’t asked for their approval as well. As it is a not a major accusation from Nokia, we believe Nokia will not launch into a legal battle.

We also believe that Nokia will expect a royalty for the Google’s Nexus 7 tablet WiFi patents. Upon hearing this accusation, the guys from Engadget tried to reach both Google and Asus for comments regarding this claim, but none of them responded.

Since we all know that Google Nexus 7 tablet priced at $199 doesn’t bring in too much revenue for the Google Inc., we don’t expect to cut a slice for Nokia.
