Apple is gearing up to release its new 2012 MacBook Pro with a 13 inch Retina display as early as this coming October, according to accredited Apple sources.

13-Inch Retina Display MacBook Pro Coming October

Reports have begun circulating this week that production of the 13 inch 2012 MacBook Pro with Apple’s fabled Retina quality display is to be stepped up into high gear in the very near future, ahead of a massive global launch after the summer.

Shared Launch with iPhone 5?

This could see the 13 inch MacBook Pro debut around the same time as the iPhone 5 – both of which are expected to generate biblical revenues for Apple over the holiday buying season.

While the 13 inch version of the 2012 MacBook has long been earmarked for great things – at least unofficially – analysts suggest that Apple was simply unable to get the device ready in time for last week’s WWDC.

Of course, the 13 inch model is expected to follow in the footsteps of the larger models showcased at the event, offering no optical drives and an incredibly sleek and slender build.
